- Anni-Frid met her father, whom she believed to be dead, for the 1st time in 1977. Her father Alfred Haase was a sergeant in Nazi Germany and had returned to his homeland shortly before her birth in 1945.
- As a part of ABBA, she performed the winning song Waterloo at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1974.
- In 2018, she teamed up with jazz trumpeter Arturo Sandoval to release a duet of the ABBA song Andante, Andante.
